The tragedy of the Ocean Liner Andrea Doria that sinked on July 25th 1956. This fiction was part of the infotainment program “Gaia, il pianeta che vive” broadcasted on Prime Time on Raitre. (Italian Public Network).
Director: Antongiulio Panizzi (5 series, 60 episodes).
Winner of 2005 TV Awards for Best Direction and Best Science program.
Shot on location in Iceland, West US, the French Alps glaciers and the volcano Etna erupting.
Antongiulio Panizzi was also responsible for the virtual studio and special effects in addition to packaging, main shooting, and editing and also in charge of the spot and promos of the show.
